A big news has come out for the Indian gaming community. Nodding Heads Games has finally officially revealed its next big project “Raji Kaliyuga,” and this game is directly connected to the universe of the famous and award-winning game Raji: An Ancient Epic.

This time, the story is not limited to just one city or one kingdom, the balance of the entire cosmos is now in the hands of Raji and Darsh. The most special thing is that this time Raji is not fighting alone. Her younger brother Darsh, whom we saw as just an innocent child in the first game, has now become a Dream Walker.

Why is Raji Kaliyuga so special?

Now Nodding Heads Games is bringing back the same universe in a bigger, deeper, and much more powerful form. This time the game is built on Unreal Engine 5, the entire trailer is made in-house and no kind of AI generation has been used.

A small team of only 16 developers is making this massive game, an entirely Indian project from start to finish.

Raji Kaliyuga’s Story

The story begins six years after the events of the first game.

Raji is no longer just a female warrior, she has become a Warrior of Faith. Darsh, who was once a helpless child, is now a Dream Walker who has the ability to see the past, future, and alternate visions.

Main Villain – Mahabalasur

This time the enemy is a powerful ancient asura:

who broke the gates of heaven
destroyed the Divine Equilibrium
and pushed every realm, gods, asuras, mystical forces, into an endless war

Raji and Darsh now have to save this broken universe… or maybe, at a twist in the story, they themselves may have to take some difficult decisions that could even shatter the cosmos.

This time the story is going to be darker, deeper, and philosophical.

Game World and Design

The first game was in 2.5D isometric style. But Raji Kaliyuga has become a complete 3D third-person action adventure.
