Hello friends! If you also play Free Fire on PC or Laptop, this guide is going to be very useful for you. After the OB51 update, many players have faced big issues, game lagging, missed headshots, and FPS drops.
So in this blog, I’m going to show you the special LD Player Emulator settings that will make your game run like butter, up to 100+ FPS with smooth headshots!
Why Choose LD Player Emulator?

There are many emulators available in the market for Free Fire like Bluestacks, NoxPlayer, Gameloop, etc., but LD Player stands out among all.
Here are its special advantages:
- Runs the game at very high FPS
- Gives smooth performance even on low-end PCs
- Requires less in-game setup
- Improves aim and headshot accuracy
- Has a simple and lightweight interface
If you’re new and have just started playing Free Fire on PC, LD Player is the perfect choice for you.
Step 1: In-Game (Free Fire) Settings
Let’s first talk about the game’s own settings, that is, Free Fire Sensitivity and Custom HUD.

Sensitivity Settings
These sensitivity values work best with LD Player:
- General – 8
- Red Dot – 90
- 2X Scope – 107
- 4X Scope – 112
Note: If you feel the sensitivity is low, increase it from the Emulator instead of in-game settings. This will make your aim more stable.
Custom HUD Settings

Your HUD (Head-Up Display), meaning your button layout, matters a lot.
- Keep Fire, Jump, and Crouch buttons where you find them comfortable
- Use the mouse side button for Gun Switch (Mouse Side Button 1 or 2)
This makes gun switching much faster and smoother than using the keyboard.
If your mouse doesn’t have side buttons, you can use a keyboard key instead, but the side button works much better.
Mouse Sensitivity (X & Y Axis)
Here comes the most important LD Player setting.
- X Axis – 70%
- Y Axis – 78%
Always remember, the X value should be slightly lower than the Y value. This helps your headshots become smoother and more controlled.
Step 2: LD Player Emulator Settings

Now let’s talk about the real game-changer settings inside LD Player.
Display Settings
Choosing the right Resolution and FPS in LD Player is very important.
Resolution:
- High-End PC: Width – Custom (Full HD), DPI – 440
- Low-End PC: 1600 × 900 Resolution
FPS Mode:
- Low-End PC – Standard Mode
- Mid/High-End PC – High FPS Mode (240 FPS)
V-Sync: Keep it Off (to avoid FPS drops)
CPU and RAM Allocation
LD Player automatically shows recommended values.
Just keep the settings it recommends:
- CPU Cores: Recommended (like 4, 6, or as per your system)
- RAM: Recommended (2GB, 4GB, or 6GB)
This helps both Emulator and Game run in a balanced way.
Phone Model Settings
Go to Phone Model and choose the setup below:
- Brand: R
- Model: ROG 8 Pro
This phone model provides a high-performance profile for Free Fire, which boosts FPS and touch response.
Advanced & Other Settings
- Root Permission: Turn On
- Disable Mouse Acceleration: Turn On
→ This makes your aim extremely accurate and fast.
After these settings, restart the Emulator once to apply the changes.
Step 3: LD Player Version
LD Player has several versions available.
My recommendation:
- High-End PC: LD Player 9.1.72.3 (64-bit Version)
- Low-End PC: LD Player 9.1.72.3 (32-bit Version)
Both versions are free to download. Try both and see which one performs better on your system.
Final Verdict
If your game is lagging, headshots are missing, or FPS drops are happening after the update, then apply the LD Player settings mentioned above, and see the difference yourself.
You’ll get:
- 100+ FPS Smooth Gameplay
- Accurate Headshots
- Zero Lag Experience
