Free Fire PC Matchmaking Unbanned in India After OB51 Update

Free Fire PC Matchmaking Unbanned in India

Hello Free Fire fans! If you love playing Free Fire on PC, there’s some big news after the OB51 update. Yes, friends, it looks like Garena has unbanned PC in the India server. Now PC players are also getting matchmaking with mobile users in BR rank matches. But wait, it’s not as simple as it sounds. Some players’ IDs are getting blacklisted, and some are even permanently suspended. I’ve tested this myself, and in today’s blog, I’ll tell you the full details, whether this is a real unban or just a glitch. Plus, the risks and my advice. So, let’s dive deep!

Free Fire OB51 Update PC Unban

After the latest OB51 update, the matchmaking scene on PC has completely changed. Earlier, PC was banned, meaning if you logged in from a PC, the match wouldn’t start, or it would only have 30-35 players, mostly bots. But now? Open PC, and the BR rank match fills up with 48 real human players!

I didn’t see this in YouTube videos; I personally tested it. After installing the update, I didn’t use my main ID but a secondary account. Launched the game on PC, there used to be a PC logo below the character whenever we played Free Fire on an emulator or PC, but now the PC logo is gone! It used to show clearly before.

Two possibilities: either Garena has really unbanned PC, or there’s a glitch in the update that’s detecting PC as a mobile device.

But just the logo disappearing doesn’t confirm matchmaking, right? So I tried a solo match. It started instantly. After landing in PIK, I stood still (bot test). Suddenly, a player “knocked me out”, meaning, a real player! I used self-revive and tried again, that one was real too. I spectated to confirm. Then chaos began, full-on real player fights!

My rank is Platinum 3, where players are usually normal (hackers appear in higher ranks). But the point is clear: zero bots, full real players. It’s been 2-3 days since the update, and if this is a glitch, it still hasn’t been fixed.

Why Are IDs Getting Blacklisted or Suspended?

Amid the excitement, there’s a problem: many players’ IDs are being blacklisted. A friend tagged me on Instagram, opened Free Fire on PC, boom, permanent ban!
So what are the reasons?

Partner Program advantage:
If you’re a YouTuber or livestreamer (in the Partner Program), Garena whitelists your ID. You can play on PC, but matchmaking is mobile-like. Maybe this system is now open for everyone, but detection is messed up.

Old PC detection glitch:
Earlier too, PC users’ IDs got banned, like Raistar or Ungraduate Gamer. The pattern was clear: PC login = suspension (30 days or permanent). Garena’s system couldn’t detect PC properly. Maybe that’s why they didn’t officially unban PCs, because of these glitches!

Background apps issue:
While playing on PC, background apps like Chrome, music players, or others stay open. Garena might think third-party software is running. PC appearing as mobile + background apps = “cheating!”, and then ban!

I personally play on mobile; I rarely use PC. Still, the system seems buggy.

Free Fire PC Matchmaking

My recommendation, bro: if PC unban is real, that’s awesome! But since there’s no official announcement yet, I suggest waiting 2-3 days. It’ll be clear, glitch or permanent change. If your ID gets banned, what’s the use of PC unban?

If it’s truly unbanned, then play safely: close background apps, don’t use VPNs, and start with a test account. But since there’s a risk, stay on mobile for now.

Why PC Unban Is Important

Here’s my opinion for the Free Fire community, Free Fire is a mobile game, yes, but PC has its advantages: better quality, smoother control.
For content creation, PC makes livestreaming and high-quality gameplay much easier. But after the 2021 ban, the community died down. Only Partner Program members could make content, the rest were out.

If PC itself is the problem, then even whitelist YouTubers should shift to mobile. Why the bias?
If PC is unbanned, all creators will get active again, audiences will stay engaged, and the community will revive. But if not, then at least Garena should communicate clearly!

What’s your opinion? Should PC be unbanned or not? Tell me in the comments. If this blog helped you, share it. See you in the next update!
