Whenever Garena brings an OB update to Free Fire, they release an article called “Patch Notes,” which contains all the details about the upcoming changes in the game. These details are not revealed in the Advance Server, but through patch notes, we get to know what’s coming next in the game. So, let’s dive into the complete details of this OB50 update in a fun and easy way!

Naruto Chapter 2: Special Event & New Items

The biggest highlight of OB50 is the Naruto Chapter 2 collaboration. A lot of exciting stuff is coming to the game through this event. Let’s break it down step by step:

1. Sasuke Susanoo: Replacing the Plane

This time, the plane is getting a major upgrade! Just like the bullet train during the 8th Anniversary event, this time, Sasuke Susanoo will replace the usual plane. It looks absolutely stunning and dangerous! Honestly, I don’t know much about Naruto (because there are too many episodes and I never got time to watch), but this Susanoo design is going to blow your mind! 2. New Skywing Skin

A brand-new Skywing skin is coming with this update. It’s designed with a Naruto theme and looks extremely cool, making your flying experience even more thrilling!

3. Main Naruto Chapter 2 Bundles

This event will bring six main bundles, including:

Madara
Itachi
Obito
Pain, and more.

Awesome Features of OB50 Update

Apart from Naruto Chapter 2, OB50 brings a lot of gameplay changes and new items. Let’s go through them in detail:

1. Tsukuyomi Area and Ninjutsu

Every match will now feature a special Tsukuyomi Area, where you’ll find Naruto-themed Ninjutsu skills. These are similar to Chapter 1’s Jutsu, but better! You can expect Black Walls, Paper Bombs, and Birds in this area.

This area will be easily noticeable due to its unique visuals and a red moon in the sky. It will last for 3–4 minutes at the start of the match. After it disappears, a special airdrop full of amazing loot will arrive!

2. 10 New Naruto-Themed Items

This update adds 10 new items, mostly found in Tsukuyomi Area. Some of the key items include:

Sharingan – Copies the active skill of an enemy near you and lets you use it once. Amazing, right?
Summon Item – Heals you and your teammates (perfect for Clash Squad).
Revive Item – Instantly revives you in 1 second.
Sand Shield – Activates an extra shield that recovers faster.
Minato Kunai – Throw it to mark a location and teleport there when tapped again.
Shadow Trap Jutsu – Creates a shadow trap that slows enemy movement if they hit it.
Triple Shuriken – Throws three ninja stars at once.
Jiraiya’s Telescope – Possibly a special scope available during the event.

3. Unlimited Dimitri & Auto-Revive

A huge change in BR Rank: You can now buy Dimitri’s skill unlimited times from the vending machine for 1200 coins each (max 3 purchases), even if you are using other characters like Wukong, Orion, or Santino.
Also, Auto-Revive time in Solo Mode is increased to 7 minutes (420 seconds). For other maps, it’s around 385–390 seconds.

4. Revive Point Cooldown Reduced

Cooldown for revive points is now 180 seconds (3 minutes) instead of 300 seconds.

5. Loot & Map Adjustments

Level 3 items (bag, helmet, vest) drop rate increased from 33% to 50%.
RGS50 Launcher drop rate increased from 50% to 100%.
Loot reduced in popular spots like Peak & Clock Tower, increased in less popular areas like Mars Electric and Pochinok.
Dragon Freeze (from Clash Squad) is now in BR.
Mini Turret range increased to 60m (from 30m), damage increased to 50 (from 20), but fire rate reduced.
Super Med Kit limited to 4 per player.

6. Cyber Mushroom & Portal Changes

Cyber Mushrooms can now be used while sitting in vehicles.
Portals can now be used while crouching or proning.

7. Vending Machine Updates

Hit List: 400 → 200 coins.
MP34 & AC80: 200 coins each.
MAG-7: 100 coins.

Character Adjustments

Six characters have been rebalanced:

Alvaro – Grenade damage boost: 25% (was 20%).
Laura – Scoped accuracy: 60% (was 50%).
Khalid (Kaoros) – EP drain: 20 EP/sec (was 10).
Nairi – HP recovery delay reduced to 1.5s; teammate heal reduced to 5 HP/sec (was 10).
Sonia – Revive HP reduced to 1 (was 50).
Santino – Ability disabled if 10m above ground (e.g., Factory roof).

Conclusion

OB50 is set to make Free Fire even more exciting! With Naruto Chapter 2, new items, unlimited Dimitri, and extended auto-revive, the game is changing big time. Santino users might be a bit disappointed, but overall, these changes are fantastic for gameplay.
